Devil Story

"Devil Story" is a horror adventure game with visual novel elements set at Sinai, a Japanese high school. The story centers on six students: Kaisu, Asaka, Nanjiro, Mayuri, Akimaru, and Rui, all members of the Occult Club, though each joined for different reasons. Despite being childhood friends, they've grown distant, with the Occult Club now their primary connection.

One day, during a ritual intended to connect the club with a random spirit in their school, they make a critical error. The ritual, meant to be powered by their friendship and symbolize their early bond, fails due to the emotional distance that has grown between them over the years. This failure foreshadows their deepening estrangement.

After the botched ritual, the group is transported into the spirit realm, trapped within their school. Windows and exits are sealed off, replaced by solid walls. As they explore, they encounter deadly traps, ghosts, and restless spirits who seek their help. Only by laying the school's haunting spirits to rest can they escape their hell.
